Sister station Sunrise Radio (Yorkshire) marks 20 years in radio broadcasting today. The station is know for "firsts" and carries on this tradiotion by launching the start of a partnership with Rose FM 90, creating for the first time live programmes between West Yorkshire, Pakistan and Mirpur.
In yet another first Sunrise radio will each weekday between 12 and 1pm and between 2 and 3pm share programming with Rose FM 90 developing links, connecting families, exploring cultural common ground in order to build community cohesion and foster working links.
Usha Parmar Chief Executive of Sunrise Radio (Yorkshire) said she was extremely proud that once again through the partnership with Rose FM 90; Sunrise was offering innovative and thought provoking programming, leading the way in South Asian broadcasting. “This could not be more timely for as we approach Sunrise Radio (Yorkshire)’s 20th anniversary we seek to repay the loyalty of our advertisers and listeners with ever evolving entertaining informative programming” she added.
